Kant argues about good will as being above anything else (it's good just because). My note: need explanation of WHY.
Humans become content through instinct, not reason. But reason's task is to produce said good will. One form is duty. Both inclination or conformity with duty (selfish) are NOT duty (moral) itself. The tool = principle of universality or "I could will my maxim to become a universal law."
