Seafort who is aware of his awesomeness is quite a cool guy. When I finish with this series... I'll reread it. I've seen a review somewhere stating that reviewer takes "Midshipman's Hope" to every trip. I will too. Somehow Nicky became a vital part of my holidays, of my free time. Of my life. The absolute lack of distance between protagonist and the reader made me go with him through hell quite a few times.
