Yup Selena is contrivedly stupid as the day is long!! Of course it was a trick and what she suddenly knew who she could trust?! Yeah right! Stupid is as stupid does!! And Theo is almost as bad - thinking he can work with Marcus! Telling him about the book...stupid!

Smart to look into Marcus back history. Selena is stupid and the regulator Lady saw right through her. Seeing the inside of chimera was cool but whys she still dormant?

I'm really starting to doubt the legitimacy of this story!! You don't go to all the work if finding people who fit mentally and torture them physically!! No you force them to follow a physical regimen for years before so then they can survive your training!!

I don't get Selena! She just trusts the obustaman's word? Why not get the lowdown from the regulator woman too!

Marcus is a little random to me! I don't find him believable and the military do not allow psychotic people to serve. The branding was really compelling but physically Theo wouldn't be able to do this without training. I'd tell Duncan about good old Marcus and take my lumps!!

So I'm liking this kid, he's a cheat but he's trying to fill the shoes he's chosen. The cave was scary for him then Duncan. Meghan was totally out of line, let him try and fall flat if he really is nothing!

So we met Selena and a mysterious murdering boy. At times the language gets so mired that I have no clue what they are saying except son sci-fi mumbo jumbo.

So I like this kid! He is smart and it was shown us - not told!!
