Hannah Grace writes, in her book that very clearly relies on the enemies-to-lovers trope, “Going from frenemies to lovers in three months wasn’t something I ever thought would happen.”

At this point just call your audience stupid, squealing HOGS if you think they need to be EXPLAINED THE TROPE THAT THEY BOUGHT THE BOOK FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!

In the midst of the most dramatic plot beat yet there are not one but TWO sexual interludes, both totally unrelated. Fuck it, I take it all back, I was unfamiliar with your game Ms. Grace.

For all the performative, saccharine gestures toward “social justice” and instagram-ideals of a “non-toxic” relationship, this is one of the most misogynistic books I’ve ever read. In my Professional Male Feminist opinion

I wasn’t expecting the main character to successfully test the first nuclear bomb in Los Alamos after contact with the military! It’s a fun subplot but I hope it’ll wrap up soon so she can go back to having pornographic sex with the college hockey player.
