Don’t tell my boyfriend I’m reading this before him. But what else am I supposed to do when I finish one book and this is the only book I have left on me during my flight?…anyway, the current portrayal of Snow has me conflicted. Because he’s kinda relatable. Just trying to survive and have a good living and future? Wanting the best education? Putting on a smile to get along with others?…we’ll see.

At this point…will I even get to Sunrise on the Reaping before that movie comes out? We’re not even done this book 😭
But I promised to wait for him, so wait I shall 😔…someone else tell him to pick up this book again though, because just my voice apparently isn’t enough.

My progress hasn’t changed (😢). But! My fiancé is half way through section II! So, I should be back into this book within the next week or two 😎.

Dr. Gaul is the ultimate poo head. I feel like she’s the OG origin story of it all, despite what might have been written otherwise. Master manipulator right there.

Snow is relatable in how people do what they can with the position they can to thrive while surviving. The average person in our society today networks, scopes a situation, and responds according to expectations that gain them favor. And he does the same. Though what is scary, is that in his relatability, it’s obviously written his selfish thinking. And knowing what he becomes, what does that say about us?

Natalie Martinaitis Yes he is so relatable! I think that’s what makes it so creepy later.
