The narrator pays a lot of attention to which words are used to say something and at which tone they are being said. I like that. Gestures, body language, facial expressions, etc. are easily analysed as well. I like the meta level about crime writing too. Not much lol-moments, but an ironic (dark/sarcastic/cynical) tone nevertheless.
