City of Glass is an entertaining mystery where the protagonist undertaks a self-imposed role swapping descent into psychological mayhem, in order to fulfill his rather oddly assumed identity. There are many ideas and concepts explored, with literary, religious and historical clues dropped like rain in a downpour. This first book in the trilogy only leaves you with too many questions.
