without migel victor would still be in mexico which is why is why he is so thankfull for him. Also with victor being caught by border patrol it has set him back tremendously.

currently Victor is struggling with the production of corn and lost of hope of living in Mexico as his family can not survive in Mexico any longer and whith his friend Rico running to the states it starts to spring the idea into his mind of crossing the border
