The Thunderbolts was the first marvel movies I’ve enjoyed in a long time! Maybe since No way Home. If you want books with found family featuring likable assholes, I highly recommend Six of Crows if you haven’t read it yet 👀

i've been meaning to read it! i heard some people say reading the shadow & bone trilogy first will make it a better reading experience? but then i've also heard that shadow & bone books aren't that good.

@chai That could be true? I personally haven’t read Shadow & Bone and jumped straight into Six of Crows. I was a little confused for the first few chapters, but after that I picked up on the world and its magic system well! So it’s definitely up to you if you read Shadow & Bone first! If you want more suggestions, there’s also The Tarot Sequence and All for the Game. All for the Game has triggering content and isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, however. I also love the Yelena pfp !!

haha i also came here to say six of crows! i’d agree that it is a bit harder to read without reading s&b, but i think it’s possible. i didn’t like shadow and bone (dnf’d it), but it was still helpful for background knowledge <3

bro honestly the best found family for me is the percy jackson series. i don’t think anyone really is an a hole but the found family trope is very there, especially in the hero’s of olympus’s series

i read them when i was younger! i still need to read magnus chase and the trials of apollo though.
