She rubbed her hands together, wet from the tears she had wiped from her face. Palm to palm she continued to make a slow delicate rhythm and she was reminded of the calming sensation when you take time to wash your hands... When they dried there was no post tear touch, as if the physical remnants of sadness reabsorbed back into her skin.
