When my father died, I found a notebook written at the end of his 10 year battle with heart disease. "A Yellowed Notebook" is a collaborative/hybrid integrating his writing with my poems; a "rondo," in 3 movements or sections: Family, Work, Retirement/diminishment. One reader said the book reminded her of Natalie Cole's mixed-tape, "Unforgettable" alongside her father's songs- Poetry, History, Memoir for ages 16+.
