After reading Loving Frank (Nancy Horgan), I wanted to learn more about Mamah. I was hoping for something more factual, but I understand the loss of letters and journals for non-fiction proves difficult. In order to fill out the book focus spread from Mamah, but I found it quite interesting and learned a lot about Chicago and Oak Park as well. It was well written and an easy read- not dry or boring.
