Read this in french a loong time ago, i was under the impression that Heathcliff was vaguely described as slightly tanned. But no, he's repetitively described as Brown skinned, a "gyspy".This is what Nelly says to him in ch7:"who knows but your father was Emperor of China, and your mother an Indian queen". To read this and picture Elordi is absolutely nuts! Ooh Emerald Fennell you're going to hell for this casting :)
