Not the style I was expecting from Mark Haddon and the lack of depth in the characters probably does scream a deeper depth than I want to read into. Not sure on the book, but maybe that’s because I prefer when broken imperfect characters (normal selfish human beings 😕) have been written with a great amount of detail and description AKA really really just not my style. Will finish as the plot line is enough.
