He blames himself for Jane's death you can tell when you read between the lines. He loved Jane so much and she passed giving him a son. I feel sad for him. He believes that if Jane had lived that their little Edward would be strong and not sick. Honestly, I have tears building in my eyes just thinking of this. This book has touched me.

Henry VIII was a somewhat good king, a good father, but not a good husband (well maybe with the first two wives sort of, but all good things come to an end). I feel the love that Henry had for Prince Edward. It saddens me in a way. If only he could've loved his daughters just as much more like he had with Edward.
