Khalid, is this your first N.K.? I’ve tried starting The Broken Earth series a few times, but it just hasn’t clicked yet. I will give it another shot soon because I’ve read that you have to get into the first book a bit before it opens up. I just don’t like feeling confused when I read.

How are you finding this series?

Hey. This is my seventh N. K. I've enjoyed all I've read, some more than others.

That said, this series sounds exactly like the one you started because up until the last 20 pages or so of the first book in this one, it was a three star read but everything coming together in the end made me give it a five star.

I was glad I endured. Her first publication, The Dreamblood duology doesn't seem to have this problem though.
