After a full trilogy re read figured may as well give the first written prequel another shot. When this first came out, I enjoyed it about a B- level, but felt like I was left with questions I had hoped would've been answered. Ex: way more Tigris lore. That being said I read it before re-reading the trilogy so I'm wondering if I'll appreciate Easter eggs and references more this time.
