Just made it to chapter 16 listening to the audio book and I’m enjoying the story but I honestly don’t like the narrators voice and it’s making me not as invested in the characters. I’m hoping the plot picks up more because I’ve heard so many good things about this series and I really want to enjoy it as much as everyone else.

I read the first one and had no problems! But when I listened to the second book I really struggled. I was also not a big fan of the narrators

I might have to switch to just reading it. Idk the voices she does sounds so forced and it just takes me out of the story. And I feel like I’m missing a lot of the emotional connection between the characters.
