Jayson
Jayson is on page 27 of 83

Notes:
(1) The first third of this begins strong but falls off a cliff pretty quickly.
(2) The first story isn't really a story, but a poem by Poe with accompanying Turtle illustrations by Eastman.
- It comes off as a whole lot of nothing until the last page when it's revealed that it's actually about "The Last Ronin," after which the piece takes on an unforeseen poignancy.

Notes:
(1) The last three stories share a similar theme of Splinter not being there anymore, with his presence diminishing from one story to the next.
- A cool idea if it's intentional, especially over two very different iterations.
(2) In general, the stories that take place in TV universes aren't great.
- The one from "Rise of the TMNT" is especially manic and not for me.

Notes:
(1) A lot of these stories take place during, or reference, storylines from their various media incarnations.
- I've consumed a lot of Turtles content in my life, but most of this just went over my head.
(2) It's weird hearing April talk about having "dated one disaster after another."
- Call me naive, but she's always been Casey's girl, or else portrayed as asexual.
