Hey Suhailah, are you able to get a copy? It's no longer available on AO3 due to it being published. I actually purchased this on Etsy, which is illegal. I didn't know that, but the seller did. The listing was taken down, and my download was removed from my purchase history. I mistakenly deleted from my Kindle when trying to add a traditional cover on Calibre. So, I had to search the internet for a link and eventually found one on an old reddit post. Yeah, I went through a lot to get another copy, but it is so worth it. The slow burn and tension between Hermione and Draco is beyond amazing. All the Fanfics I have recently added are available on AO3 except for two I think. One of them being Manacled due to it being published. The published version for Manacled is called "Alchemised."

Also, if you wait to buy the published version...it will probably be heavily edited due to the author not having the rights to all the Harry Potter characters and other things associated with the series. Which sucks because it was written so well, and if it was J.K. Rowling, I would have given permission and took a cut. This is absolutely bonkers, and the writing is just peak. It's a fanfic, my god, but it's a very good one. It is not cheesy and can easily be connected to the Harry Potter universe.

Sorry for the late response, I did not get a notification! I was able to snag a copy by jumping through hoops last month! I saw all about the fiasco with it being traditionally published and taken down. I had no idea until this year that was happening and definitely needed to get my hands on the original. I agree, J.K. Rowling should have given permission. I've heard so much about this being so good and can't wait to read it!

It's no problem, Suhailah. All I can tell you is this has been the best read so far, and if you're a Harry Potter fan, be prepared to absolutely enjoy this. It's so good. I have been dragging this out because it's just that good and will be a reread for sure.

People also sell gorgeous printed versions on Etsy. I may buy one in the future. I feel bad doing so because it doesn't support the author. I may just print out the download version I have. Lol.

Wow, that is so exciting I have high hopes! I do love Harry Potter. I have yet to read the entire series yet but have seen all the movies. I know! I wanted to get my hands on a pretty printed version so bad too but was scared and also feel bad. But yessss the cover art is gorgeous that I've found.

Same here! I read the first 2 books when they came out then part of the 3rd, but I definitely need to do a complete and fresh reread. It's a huge goal of mine too!
