I feel like the writing is just not jelling with me. The author is trying a little too hard to use "gen z slang" like yeet, or lowkey but it just comes off as feeling forced.

also I was looking forward to reading a fun romp type book. I think this book is taking itself a little too seriously with trying to make social commentary that again feels a bit forced. each character is kind of just a shallow stereotype.
