Fellow mammals means humans in that case and *lol* I find it hilarious to see humans from an alien POV. Suppose we might smell pretty bad to them? XD

Okay, that's definitely among the best first lines of all the books I ever read! Also I totally love that we're talking real aliens here. It's not just a queer normative world but also a non-human one. Awesome! <3
