Ok since I have read Carrie and I'm reading this I am noticing King sure likes to go on and on about stuff that doesn't have much to do with the story besides fleshing out the world
His writing does have this rugged, blue collar feel to it that really makes the town feel like a character itself and really fleshes out the world but also we don't need to know about a good chunk of this stuff either
