I find this more painful every time I read it. I haven't touched it since leaving uni, maybe a year and a half now, even two, because I just couldn't. Every line just hurts. It's the most life-affirming book.

Yesss one of my fave books of all time 😭 loved doing my a level coursework on it but it does mean I've not read it since I wrote about it. Maybe I'm due a reread 😊

I re-read it whenever I get to a new stage of my life; I can feel I'm at one now
That's such a good way of looking at the book omg I love that!
I'm essentially following them: first read it at 16, then at the end of school, start of uni and so on. Now I'm at the end part of their character lives, after uni when everyone is becoming themselves and moving away
