I don’t normally read epic fantasy. I don’t know if that’s what is making me unsure about this book. So far the draw between the two characters is too instant and they’re so trusting of each other. Also, it’s reading like a video game. At the beginning of a video game you test/learn the basics attack or defense skills while you have soft meetings with common enemies. That is the first 100 pages.
