you know what i miss? just some regular ass chivalrous romance. why are these romances so heavy on the sexual aspects and then do the more romantic fluff AFTER ?? how about we build some actual tension and not have scenes like: i’m about to fuck u. oh no every time we’re about to smash we get interrupted. n that’s it.

is that what real romance and tension is to you KRISTIN. WRAP IT UP.

okay i lied the mc is annoying. idk why authors have such a hard time trekking between making the mc relatable versus making them annoyingly sarcastic n dry. this is not a girlboss moment u r pissing me AWF.

also the whole hetero romance trope being like. i don’t need a man bc im now going to be an strong independent woman is so exhausted ENOUGH OF THAT

pleasantly surprised bc this is kinda good… like the mc isn’t super annoying at all. don’t like how (who i’m assuming is) the love interest’s name is kane. But overall. better than pumpkin spice cafe Thankfully

this book was 25% off and i love tarot so how could i not..

i’m ready for this book to be absolutely dog. thankfully i WILL be reading it alongside wolf den which im like 98.8% sure I’ll love. So whenever this book inevitably pisses me off i will switch back to wolf den
