I might just DNF because of the constant use of phrases like “by golly”, “by Jove”, and my least favorite - “gadzooks”. Not only does this highlight the level of maturity / age gap between the two, but it also makes them (especially the FMC) sound like idiots. I don’t even care if it’s historically accurate!
