Maria Corbin’s Reviews > The Count of Monte Cristo > Status Update

Incredible book with such detail that it comes alive in the reader or listeners mind! At times it seemed as if Dumas must be recording a spledid account of real happenings. The story telling is very thourough, but never dull, and the movement of the narrative is often through dialogue. I felt like a a character among the rest shadowing everyone. It's an adventurous journey of revenge, love, consequences, & hope.
