That's it, I'm giving up on this - for now. If I have to read one more time 'unyielding' or 'resolve' I'll throw my Kindle out of the window.
DNF for now, might come back to it in a few months or a year or two, hoping the author eventually polishes it up.
Shame, so far I really enjoyed this series, but I can only tolerate so much bad writing. Esp. when I know the author can do much better, story-wise at least.
