Characterization, I think the character feels scared because he has to move to a new city to start a new life, and also, I think he feels a little sad because he lost his brother, and he still thinks about him if he were alive.

Genre: My book is science fiction because it's about a boy that has to move away from his old school and start a new life in New York at his grandmas house and he's scared and he wants to go back home but he gets used to living there and starts to have a fun time there.

TOPIC: Audience and Purpose I think the purpose of this book is to tell people how hard middle school is. The person reading this book is probably someone in middle school it probably engages the reader because of how hard his life is.
