PS-Oh gosh...just accidentally discovered that the author is the great Lisa Henry! Now I get why this caught my attention (since usually don't read lots of fanfics y'know ;-P)
Anyways it's not only rainbows & kittens, there's a cool & moving fantasy-SL as well that keeps things engaging.
