An unexpected twist !!
Suspenseful indeed.

Luke Falcon (Mark’s cousin & FBI agent) will deliver ransom.
Thank you author for exposing the bad guy behind the scheme to us readers in the middle of story .. I could not wait any longer !
Kudos to DH .. this is a 5 star read so far.

Kidnap for ransom. Tried for 3 of the Falcon family but young Benjamin ran off into the woods and found next day in a search. His father, Mark, was in a car accident while on car phone with kidnapper asking for ransom and care flighted to Houston hospital for surgery.
Only hostage is Dr. Sharon (Caroline’s sister and Mark’s wife).
Ransom demand doubled to 10 million dollars.
