I liked the ending. I liked the magic system a lot. So glad toadling didn’t live happily ever after with halim, I would’ve puked. Overall good story. Favorite character was probably Fayette but toadling earned a place in my heart. I feel like authors writing tried to hard at parts. I really enjoyed the second half of book so much more than the first. On to epilogue.

Eh. I like some parts. I like the evil “princess”. she’s entertaining. But I just hope there doesnt develop a romance between toddling And Halim it would be too obvious and cringey. The magic is eh. The story idea is ok for a quick read. I feel like in some spots the author tries too hard to sound like someone. I will stay optimistic in hopes of a better ending. We’re in act 2 now it seems, so let’s see.
