Alyssa Davis’s Reviews > What Lies Beyond the Veil > Status Update

It started off very slow, though the abuse and trauma scenes are very heavy. In the last 20 pages the veil came down and she’s been marked. So she’s on the run and I’m enjoying these scenes with her brother. Although I’m confused as to what the wild hunt is. I don’t understand if that’s her mate or people searching for her because she’s marked like them.
