In "Thinking as A Hobby" William Golding explains how he is a detailed observer of the way humans think. He categorizes thinking into three grades. Grade 3 thinking which is emotional based thinking, Grade two which like to contradict any given situation and grade one which involves removing any aspect of feelings in your thoughts.
