never saw a fox before but you instantly trust these weird animals enough to stop kingfisher from killing it only to let it bite you and you SOMEHOW know that they have good night vision and excellent sense of smell? make it make sense! this world building sucks.

also, kingfisher is obviously the love interest but he's so boring. she's treating him like shit for...*checks notes* saving her life. Ren is the only person I like so far.
