this book is so long tbh doubt I’ll finish it before my loan is up. So far I’ve learned that being a professional woman in the 80s was just dodging landmine after landmine of sexual discrimination

this is 35 yrs old so not totally relevant but i feel like there will be parallels to the new trend of « too pretty to work » « I’m just a girl » that twitter tells me is helping right wing culture dominance
