When Sages old teammates came to her house it was kind of strange how the author had written it out. It was so fast and kind of not planned it seemed like. The author did this to show how Sage had felt to make it fast and random because it felt like that to her as well.

The recreational volleyball team has been confusing, the author most likely did this to have some sort of suspense build up for later and foreshadowing something will happen to Sage.
