“I’m not. It’s fine. You’re your own person.” It was the most obvious lie he’d ever told. But jealousy was not an emotion for a gentleman. He was pretty sure about that. Sure, Marlon Brando or Yul Brynner could chew the scenery when their beloved was making eyes at another man, but in real life it didn’t do to get possessive like that.
