This is why 99% of the books I read are ebooks or audiobooks from one of two libraries. Plus I'm cheap, lol! I hope you like it!

I have to up my library game. There is a backlog on the books I want.
I hear ya! I have about 30 on hold at any given time, so I just read them in the order they come in. As long as you aren't set on reading a particular book NOW, it works. I'm flexible about it, so it's fine.
Ah. I’m a v. Moody reader. This could account for more than half my library problem. Plus I can only have 15 on hold at one time. I filled it up with winter books and now in the spring I don’t want to read them.
Actually, what I do, is when a hold comes available, if I'm not ready for it then (b/c I'm still reading something else), or I'm not in the mood for that kind of book (rare, but does happen), I'll just put it back in the hold queue. There are some books I've "deferred" many times b/c they always come in right when I'm reading something else. Since I do this all through the Libby app, it's super easy. I can only have 5 on hold at a time w/one of my libraries, but the other allows 30!
30 seems closer to reasonable. I will try throwing it back into the queue next. I will try to add greater St. Paul to my libraries.

I need to be patient with the process of library patronage. It takes finesse and that’s not my natural thing.
