I knew what a Broker was, but not sure how I hadn’t heard of an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. Now, I know which I prefer (the later) and what to look for. Another new thing, understanding the difference between short term (year or less) and long term (year or longer) investments in reference to capital gain taxes. Still want to dig in more on that in my own.

While much of this I know there are nuggets of wisdom for me to think about, check myself on, or apply. Still finding this beneficial and she’s entertaining.

The first step was about identifying your money problems. Second step was to ID total annual expenses x 20 to estimate the amount to reach your retirement goal but overestimate. The author does mention her website has tools. Checked them out, but you need your amounts in Step 2 first. She did mention at least 2x that rich people typically have 7 streams of income on average, most passive.
