Arguably the part of the book that aged the worst, but I think that's something that is so interesting about it. In an age before there was so much content in the new run of the show to really speculate on, all that they had was a single season with one or two returning villains. Wild to think about given what the show has become now.

Almost finished, and I really enjoy how this applies a lens of recent history as the episodes were coming out to draw lines that you don't consider when you're multiple months deep into a binge of a silly little sci-fi show. There's some of the earlier episodes that I can see the historical context for because I've watched them a handful of times, but the mid-60s stuff... a lot more interesting with this context.

I've probably said this before, but this section really stood out not only in how informative it was in the process of wiping old tv tapes, but also realizing what's changed since this book was published. There's less missing episodes of doctor who. This serves as a really interesting time capsule.

Enjoying the fact that every episode has the same level of attention, it's more consistent than perusing a wiki for some of this information. It's touched on some things that I wanted to look into more.
