On page 50 and the only word that Grant aka Tarzan has said so far is "Mine!"

Yes, this is a "Me, Tarzan, you Jane" primitive story all right! However, Cheetah is no where in sight.... lo

The heroine in an earlier chapter did call herself Jane and later that morning... he (Tarzan) left her with fruit, fish and a old, shotty copy of the book "Tarzan and the Apes." Tarzan or Grant does have a sense of humor!

"Something almost primal in nature flashed in his eyes. It made me scoot back from him. I didn’t need to know who this man was or how long he’d been here to know he’d become more animal than human. More savage than civilized."

"And enough with checking him out already,me Jane. You are trapped. Have no idea where you are. Your body is staging a revolt. There’s an almost naked man staring at you like he hasn’t seen a woman in twenty years."
