I really want this to be a miniseries. It makes me want to rewatch Impact (2009 miniseries) even though it’s ass and I just watched it 6 months ago. The two stories are so so similar.

There are like 20 pages left and they’ve JUST started the the save-the-world mission so I don’t really see how there’s gonna be much more room for conflict and wrap-up, but I’m struggling to pay attention while reading this… I’m worried it’s a straight shot to the finish line and that’ll be it?? Like these characters are just… no longer interesting to me.

Boring ass day on set so was able to knock out over a hundred pages today lmao. Big fan of the author for introducing the reader to random characters 450 pages in and describing their entire backstory just to kill them 2 pages later

This book is just every disaster movie you’ve ever seen but with extra steps

So far this is like an extended version of those asteroid disaster movies you see from the 90’s except I never knew about this book before. It’s such a treat. Also sad to see such high expectations people in 1998 had for the year 2024. Multiple space stations? Cities on the moon? Two black presidents and one female President? What happened?? There is also like one new character introduced every page lol
