What do you think of this one so far?

It’s interesting especially in that there are Japanese words and culture sprinkled throughout which I always like to read about because it’s often familiar, but the book isn’t really holding me very well. I like touches of magical realism at times, like in Alice Hoffman’s books, but I’m just not very invested in the story or the bland relationships. Kind of disappointed because the setting and premise sounded intriguing. We shall see how it ends up.
