I always liked it when it switched to Rose Downes' pov because it followed the dreams and the thoughts of a teenage girl, and I love historical fiction. In Lizzie's pov, I hated it when I was immersed but suddenly bombarded with how obsessed the protagonist was with the men around her. She didn't have a likeable personality, while, with the girl, the story focused on actual problems that made me invested.
