another pleasant surprise. although the story of peter pan was never a childhood favorite of mine and i haven’t read a play since high school I actually really liked this installment. it was dark and eery and mysterious and i want the second episode right now

In full honesty i was a little nervous to read more of cassie’s work outside of the shadowhunters universe as i didn’t particularly vibe with swordcatcher. BUT I WAS SO WRONG. this short story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson at a high school boarding school was so so so good. i need a full book of them, a full series in fact. i loved their characters, it was familiar but fresh. LOVED.
