“Eat.” Tomashi snaps, sitting down and digging into his own food.
I grab a fork from the centre of the table, watching the boys absolutely house the food, and prod gently at my own. “It’s not poisoned, right?”
Elijah chokes on his bite, heaving.
I meet Tomashi’s glare with one of my own, raising a brow in challenge.

It reminded me a little of Mexican food.
These mushrooms would taste amazing on a taco with guacamole and salsa.
Happy my beast was happy, I turn to grab some bread so I can make a sandwich.
My phone goes off in my pocket.
Pulling it out, thinking one of the guys were checking on me, I open the notification.

Wait…if Mc’s period was 3 weeks then Bastian should’ve already been back. Since he’s suppose to be back at 4 weeks. I hope this isn’t a plot hole and will be explained that he’s still looking for Sinta.

“Oh yeah. You should have seen Bastien’s last year. Now that was a blowout.” Rapid chuckles.
Elijah smacks Rapid around the head, encouraged by Fade on his other side.
“I don’t even want to know. I wasn’t there, we weren’t introduced, it’s not my business.” I snort.

So Festos is the 6th. The one who was kicked out and whom our Mc has taken the place of. We just have to meet Bastian whom we all ready know as ‘My Dragon’ by Sin. Also I think Festos will make good with the boys and they will all figure out it was a big misunderstanding planned by the ex and he’ll join the relationship.

Neither of us were in the best of shape.
If I didn’t have to roll over every ten minutes like a rotisserie chicken, I wouldn’t move at all.
“Devil Eyes?”
I groan from beneath the blanket, my head stuffed in a pillow.
The bed jostles, the mattress dipping behind me. My blanket is slowly peeled back, inviting unwelcome light into my cocoon.

His lips tick up, amused. “I know. Gargoyles have very similar powers to Seers and Oracles.” He drawls.
I gape at him like a fool.
Taking advantage, he swoops in and takes a kiss full of passion and blazing, blistering heat. He rocks me with the intensity of it, his tongue curling around my own and guiding it into a silky, captivating seduction.

Gasping, arching, it rolls over me with the fiery heat of an explosion and singes every nerve in my body, wrenching a scream from my chest.
“Fuck yeah, baby.” He groans, the sound feral.
He arches over to slam into me once, twice, three times, and roar out his own orgasm.

“They have those for Fae?” I gasp.
He only nods, face severe, eyes hard.
“I won’t tell.” I promise him.
“I like you, Sinta. I want to take you out and get to know you more.” He tells me, his voice grave. “But if you tell, if you hurt Tomashi, it’s him I’ll protect. Whatever it takes.”
I don’t think I’d ever been threatened with death so subtly.

Ok I amend my previous statement. She’s a thorn tail dragon.

“Is there a Green Dragon Breed that eats poisonous flora?” Elijah demands.
“Yes, two actually.” Yelana confirms. “A Venom Dragon, and a Thorn Tail Dragon. It’s looking like the Venom at this point, but after she eats the mushroom and one more test, we’ll know for sure.”
Elijah’s wary gaze swings to me.

average human “If you don’t want it,” He snarls, leaning forward. “Then throw it out. I don’t cook to please delicate females.”
My mouth drops open. “Delicate? Says the male who cut up fruit and arranged the plate all nice and pretty!” I snap.
He stands and leans over the bench, as if he would snatch my plate away.
I pull it out of his reach and scoop up the omelette, taking a big messy bite of it, ignoring Rapid’s loud guffaw.
“Play nice and I’ll do the same. It would be a shame if you chipped one of those shiny white teeth of yours on something I cook.” I taunt as he bares said teeth at me in a savage snarl.
“By the Gods, Tomashi. Calm down.” Fade sighs, muttering something under his breath in French. “Sinta, please, do not antagonise. He has a quick temper.”
“Sounds like he just needs to take a dip.” I gesture towards the pool outside the sliding glass doors. “Want me to throw you in and hold you down?”
“How about I hog tie you and throw you over the nearest fucking cliff?!” Grouchy McGrouch Pants roars, the red tips of his hair suddenly catching fire.
Poor Elijah dives away from him with a yell, eyes wide.
“Kinky.” I purr.
All the males freeze to stare at me, Fade with a dish towel in his hands and Elijah observing from a safe distance away.
Rapid is leaned back in his chair, arms wrapped around his middle, grinning like the Cheshire Cat himself.
And poor Tomashi looks like a fish out of water, the flames in his hair dying down while his lips struggle to form words.
I finish the omelette and grab the grapes, since they are the only fruit on the plate that would survive travel, and point at the literal hot-headed ass.
“You give me trouble and I’ll throw it right back. I’m here to study and build a future. We can either be friends while I do that or I can become your worst nightmare. Choose wisely.”
And with that, I swan right on out of there and retrace yesterday’s steps back to the Academy’s main building.
I had a day of exploring ahead of me.

“You’re taking art?”
“Yep, just art, fitness, and combat for now. I’ll see how that goes and maybe add another course towards the middle of the year. What about you?”
“Oh. Mathematical theory, historical algorithmics, social theory, fitness and combat, a few courses on ancient civilisations, and a course on the natural fauna and flora of Faerie. I hope to visit our home realm sometime this year and write a thesis on it.” She beams.
I stare at her for a long moment in total awe, long enough that she gets nervous and starts to fidget.
“That is at least six courses. Six. Double mine.” I gawk. “Woman, you are tiny. Your brain can’t be much bigger than mine. How?!”
“Though she be little, she is fierce.” Kenya retorts and makes a little roaring sound as she claws the air.
“Right, how about this? You be the brains, I’ll be the brawn. We can be ruling this school in about two or three months.” I suggest.
“Sure.” She laughs. “Can we start before or after lunch? I’m starving.”
“After. Definitely after.” I glance around, immediately feeling a ridiculous amount of panic. “Which way is the cafeteria?”
Kenya laughs and grabs my hand, pulling me along behind her. “Come on, they have a really good pizza selection.”
“Oh, my god, I love you.” I moan.
