Idk if i hopped back in at a bad spot but i kinda hate this lol. The exploration of how cult-like groups leverage similar language to suppress dissent is genuinely interesting (even if wholly underdeveloped), but her analysis kinda just stops there and then the rest of the novel is just a sequence of case studies where each is less interesting than the last. Pop science might just not be my vibe.
