Riley went to the dog park so that he could keep training. The family and friends also had a barbecue where they played games such as cornhole and baseball and also roasted some hot dogs and marshmallows. Ben talked to Samantha about Riley’s journey so far, and how he gave Riley to Samantha after Butch wanted to get rid of him. They later saw a fire at another mall that was caused by illegal fireworks.

Riley was treated to a warm bath while the little boy stayed in the hospital getting special treatment. The whole neighborhood was throwing a goodbye party for Captain Bea as she was almost about to retire. Despite the successful rescue mission, Butch still made Ben get rid of Riley, and even the deserving dal himself was very upset about it.

The woman they were saving had no pulse as the chemically air almost killed her, but luckily Rosie saved her in time. Riley was born on Valentine’s Day. There was also a big storm which made floods almost everywhere. The rescue team tried to save a little boy in a raging river, but Riley almost died during the mission. Butch really wanted to swim in the river, but it wouldn’t be appropriate in a dangerous storm.

Samantha was given a firefighter’s uniform and Riley kept on learning how to get used to the gas mask. He was also about to go into his very first fire. Riley got spayed with a hose and kind of failed his training. Riley and the rescue team went to a house that’s been chemically infested with carbon monoxide.

Riley lead the rescue team into saving a dead or alive lady, and Samantha visited the station for a project. She learned how to tie knots for ropes while teaching Riley the search game. She also learns CPR and Riley gets introduced to the gas mask. Riley even celebrated Halloween at some point.

After the mission was done, Riley went on a journey back home to his Samantha… without permission.

Captain Bea is about to retire and Butch kept promising the no dog policy. Riley later helps the rescue team climb down the mountain so they can save an abandoned woman.

The police found Samantha and Riley all alone and called Ben and Rosie to bring them home. Afterwards, Ben suggested that Riley should live at the station from now on in order for him to be a true fire dog. Samantha was scared of Riley going into fires. Butch was still not happy about Riley being at the station but Captain Bea ended Ben and Butch’s disputing conversation.

Ben, Rosie, Samantha and Riley all went to a code blue emergency only to find out that it was fake as an old woman was just asking for a ride to the doctor’s office. Since Dalmatians need some socialization, Samantha took Riley to the mall and also tried to use it as a method of overcoming her fear of being in public places, but it only seemed to make it worse.
